Japanese brand WTAPS reissues 3 new iterations of its ever-popular Canvas Sneaker 01 silhouette.
As a continuation to previously released minimalistic footwear examples, Japanese brand WTAPS returns with a reissue of its ever-popular Canvas Sneaker 01. Resembling the silhouette of a classic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star, the WTAPS Canvas Sneaker 01 retains a softly patterned toe counter while opting for the use of a smoothed outsole in place of the usual raised stripe detailing seen on the aforementioned All Star silhouette. Featuring gloss metal eyelets, the shoe’s heavy canvas upper is supplemented by a stitched tongue emblem, utilitarian-inspired screen-printed numbers on the outer edge of each respective heel counter with a rubberized “PLACING THINGS WHERE THEY SHOULD BE” tab along the lower most half its rear sole. The WTAPS Low Top Canvas Sneaker 01 is now available in 3 color variations from HAVEN for $204 USD.
