Fendi 2016 Spring/Summer Collection
Monochrome tones and a sprinkling of prints.
Fendi has presented its 2016 spring/summer line during Milan Fashion Week. The luxury house’s latest offers a streamlined collection of bold pieces, further embellished by monochrome tones, for an overall clean aesthetic. Velvet shirts convey a plush, thick appearance, especially when paired with oversized trousers, or corduroy pants. Noteworthy looks from the runway show include a loud, yellow leather overcoat layered over a white-collar shirt and black trousers, and a leather collar jumpsuit underneath a black wool coat. Coats flaunting a gradient scale, snakeskin print, and a variation of an all-over, multicolored blossoming print has been applied to tops and bottoms alike. The decision to style models in leather visor caps was certainly a unique look, not recently seen on the catwalk.
