A Closer Look at the NikeLab Roshe Cortez
Life is like a box a sneakers, all the good models get recycled.

Less than 24 hours ago, NikeLab unveiled its followup to the Hiroshi Fujiwara-designed Roshe LD-1000 SP with the hybrid Roshe Cortez. The first model we saw was the original red, white and blue Cortez colorway made famous in the critically-acclaimed film Forrest Gump, where Tom Hanks’ character ran across the States because he “just felt like running.” The second drop appears in a monochromatic color combo where its black base is contrasted with a white Swoosh and Roshe sole unit. Complete with a nylon tongue, exposed padding and retro branding, both iterations of the Roshe Cortez are due out this Thursday, June 18 at nike.com/nikelab and select NikeLab destinations worldwide.
