GoPro to Release a Quadcopter in 2016
With drone footage becoming ever more present across a variety of cinematic, sporting and private

With drone footage becoming ever more present across a variety of cinematic, sporting and private productions, it would appear that GoPro’s latest proposal to begin manufacturing its own airborne equipment is a natural step in the right direction. During a speech at this year’s Code Conference, GoPro’s CEO Nick Woodman announced that the video recording giant is currently designing its very own multi-rotor flying machines to be released as early as 2016. Described by Woodman as “the ultimate GoPro accessory,” the addition of a consumable drone to GoPro’s offering will almost certainly trump present outboard models that already support their equipment. Little is known at the moment with regard to the exact price of GoPro’s “Quadcopter,” but it is sure to cost between $500 and $1,000 USD. Stay tuned to GoPro’s official website for more information on the development of this highly anticipated accessory.
