For two weeks during this upcoming September, Converse Rubber Tracks has got the keys to 12 of the world’s most iconic studios and are going to be selecting emerging artists to toss the keys to. Starting today, artists can start applying for recording slots at legendary spots like Abbey Road in London, Stankonia in ATL and Sunset Sounds in LA. All studio time and travel will be covered by Converse.
The two-week, multi-city pop-up is part of an expansion of Converse Rubber Tracks, Converse’s program initiated in 2011 to build better relationships with musicians. There are currently two Rubber Tracks Studios, both in the U.S., one in Boston, and one in New York. Both will be part of the worldwide 12 dedicated to emerging acts in September.
