Utilizing Dubai’s Princess Tower as their stage, Skydive Dubai and XDubai have teamed up with Dream Jump to set up a hair-raising base jumping platform with accompanying zip-line that leads all the way down to the city’s luxurious marina. Forming part of an extreme two-week Dream Jump event, over 500 participants threw themselves off the 400-meter-high platform before parachuting to safety. The Princess Tower is the second tallest building in Dubai after the Burj Khalifa and is the world’s tallest residential skyscraper, comprised of 101 stories with six basement floors. A feat truly terrifying for those without prior sky-related experience, the hardened jumpers in the clip all seem effortlessly comfortable as they quickly descend the tower’s elevation with a variety of aerial acrobatics both with and without the provided zip-line. Given the opportunity, would you jump off something nearly twice as high as your average skyscraper? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
