Ahead of tomorrow’s grand opening, Palace Skateboards founder Lev Tanju opened up the doors of the label’s new London flagship to Style.com for an exclusive look inside. Located on Brewer Street, the new full-service skate shop boasts marble floors, turntables, a specially curated selection of records for sale, and even a bevy of exclusive in-store-only product — including bench-made, gold-cast penny loafers from Portugal. Tanju also promises that a number of small collaborative capsule collections are on the way, each of which will only be available at the shop. Said Tanju of the space:
I’ve been trying to do it for ages, really. I was just waiting to find the right spot. It’s a lot of work, but it’s all fun, really… It’s just a nice spot to hang out at. A skate shop that does everything.
Palace opens its doors in London this Saturday, April 25.
