Veteran country star Willie Nelson is planning on launching his own brand of weed called “Willie’s Reserve”, to sell in states where marijuana is legal. In a recent interview with the Daily Beast, the 81-year-old cannabis enthusiast said he plans on opening in 2016 wherever pot is legal. The brand’s spokesperson and pot lobbyist Michael Bowman was on hand during the interview and also stated:

“Right now we’ll focus on the states where legalisation has occurred, and as new states open up, those opportunities will present themselves on a state-by-state basis,” Bowman said, adding that “there will be movement” within the next year on opening the store.

Willie Nelson went on to add:

“If we made marijuana legal, we’d save a whole lotta money and lives”
