Wale Featuring J. Cole - The Pessimist

2011 saw Wale and J. Cole team up on a hard-hitting number titled “Bad Girls Club.” Now, the two collaborate once more on “The Pessimist,” a soulful track which finds both rappers fall back on an introvert tip, speaking on current affairs and the misconceptions of the American dream. Produced by Osinachi, the track opens with a soundbite from George Costanza of Seinfeld, which aptly complements the album artwork. Look for “The Pessimist” on Wale’s The Album About Nothing, set to drop coming Tuesday, March 31 with features from likes of Usher, Miguel, SZA and productions from Jake One, DJ Khali and DJ Dahi.
