After going public about his struggles with depression and bipolar disorder, it is uplifting to see Ohio born rapper Charles Hamilton remerging into the spotlight with a newfound confidence. That confidence carries over into his freshly released track “NY Raining” which features rising songstress Rita Ora, who is also signed to Republic Records. The song, which is included on the soundtrack to FOX’s Empire series, eloquently pairs the sensual hook courtesy of Ora in between sentimental verses from the emcee.
