From the outset, NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas Originals‘ collaborative collection has always been striking. The two brands resume their relationship for Spring/Summer 2015, showcasing the first drops with a new lookbook on the season. Shinsuke Takizawa’s Harajuku institution looks to be in its stride here with a more technical, diverse approach than last season, executing a strong array of outerwear while also ushering in distinctively Japanese trends to the global stage. Oversized trousers, super-cropped shorts and bold patterned button-downs are the pillars of this collection, not to mention the vibrant orange-based color palette. In terms of footwear, Takizawa considered the NH Boston Super OG, Pro-Model, Campus 80s Mid, ZX 500 OG, Tournament and Adilette silhouettes – all of which receive distinct signature hits courtesy of the designer.
