One of the highlights of Maison&Objet 2015 was undoubtedly the “ChocolaTextureLounge” installation from Japanese design firm Nendo. Home to a lunge area of chocolatey brown furniture, the installation was highlighted by the inclusion of a wave sculpture that surrounded the furniture — constructed out of 2,000 chocolate pipes — and effectively lined the entirety of the space. As previously mentioned, ChocolaTextureLounge attendees also had the opportunity to take home one of 4,000 sets of artsy chocolates that were crafted exclusively for the event.
Maison&Objet 2015 was held in Paris from January 23 through January 27 and will return to the French capital September 4 for its next installment.
