Aston Martin's Vulcan Boasts Upwards of 800 Horsepower

The new Aston Martin Vulcan is a fascinating and exciting new creation set to redefine the design language for which the infamous car manufacturer has become so well known. Lending its name from the Greek god of fire, the automobile has been described as one of the most extreme models ever produced following the infamous One-77. Developed in conjunction with the company’s racing division, the car’s carbon fiber monocoque body conceals a powerful 7.0 liter V12 engine and will produce an impressive 800-plus horsepower.

With 24 available to purchase worldwide, the Vulcan is a track-only supercar and each new owner is offered a comprehensive track training program with lessons from the likes of Darren Turner — former Le Mans winner and Aston Martin race driver. Described as “a sports car for true sports car lovers” by CEO Dr. Andy Palmer, the Vulcan carries a hefty price tag of roughly $2.33 million – a special brand commitment for something that cannot be driven on-road.
