New 'Top Gear' UK Series May See Chris Harris and Sabine Schmitz as Co-Hosts
The drift monkey and Queen of the Nurburgring would definitely shake things up a bit.

Clarkson, Hammond, May: meet Evans, Harris and Schmitz. While most were pretty disappointed to hear that the original trio of the infamous Top Gear will be replaced with only UK radio host Chris Evans as being confirmed, reports are now spilling in about two co-hosts who could possibly join the new team. Chris Harris, better known as “the drift monkey,” would share his tire-squealing sports car skills to the program while Sabine Schmitz, often referred to as the Queen of the famous Nurburgring track due to her extensive experience of the circuit, would help provide some well-balanced German technics and know-how for lap times and car reviews. While each presenter would bring their sizable presentation artistry from previous shows and publications along with a different personality to the table — much like Clarkson’s painfully blunt expertise, Hammond’s on-screen presence and May’s over-the-top OCD — could this new (albeit unconfirmed for now) news save the Top Gear franchise from impending failure?
Nevertheless, Top Gear will return to the BBC on May 8, 2016.
