Jeremy Scott Recruits Mario & Co. for Nintendo Capsule Collection
The world’s favorite Italian plumber makes his way to the house of Moschino.

Never one to shy away from childhood nostalgia (or anything else, for that matter), Jeremy Scott has incorporated characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Barbie, the Powerpuff Girls and Looney Tunes in his collections since taking up the helm at Moschino. Now, another dearly-held cultural franchise has been reinterpreted by the designer for his “Super Moschino” project, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of Mario, the world’s best-loved Italian plumber. He, along with Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Bowser and more adorn a lineup of T-shirts, handbags, intarsia knit sweaters and accessories that have been rendered in eye-catching shades, and are sure to inspire envy in any Nintendo fan. The Nintendo x Moschino “Super Moschino” capsule will be available online and in-store globally from December 5 onwards.
