Tomorrow's Meatball: What We'll All Be Eating 20 Years From Now
Food made of scraps, waste and spoiled goods. Yum.
Space10 is a future-living lab that explores different ways of thinking when it comes to building a sustainable future for the human race. Bas Van de Poel & Kaave Pour created the project together with Simon Perez who is a chef and food designer. Tomorrow’s Meatball is the title of the project that aims to showcase alternative food solutions like algae, insects and various other scraps and waste, in a bid to develop a global food model. Some examples above include “The Wonderful Waste Ball” which is made up of spoiled or discarded food, or the all-white “Mighty Powder Ball” which is a meal replacement that comes in a powdered form and contains protein, carbs, fats, as well as vitamins and minerals. For a full description of futuristic meal, head over to Space10’s website.
