Erykah Badu Responds to Iggy Azalea and Her Fans
“Why you do Iggy like that?”
When Erykah Badu hosted this year’s Soul Train Awards, she fired some shots to Iggy Azalea by saying that what the Australian artist is doing is “definitely not rap.” Iggy responded by subtweeting to the diss and of course, Badu did not let it slide. Recently, a Twitter user asked: “Why you do Iggy like that?” to which Erykah gave a video response, saying: “I want to do this for my daughters. I want to apologize to Iggy Azalea because she’s one of their favorite artists. And they listen to her all the time. And, it’s for them. [...] I mean, if y’all love her so much, why don’t you go be with her then?” Check out the tweets below.
