'American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson' Finally Has a Trailer
It’s an ensemble cast affair.
Ryan Murphy is at it again — the American Horror Story show-runner is gearing up for the release of his latest spin-off anthology series, American Crime Story, which tells the stories of some of history’s most famous criminals. First up is disgraced two-sport athlete O.J. Simpson, whose widely-televised murder case kept America on the edge of its collective seat back in 1995. Murphy’s show promises to tell the other half of the story, revealing the personal melodrama and conflict that unfolded behind-the-scenes of the infamously public legal proceedings.
The trailer showcases Murphy’s penchant for ensemble casts, including AHS alumnus Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark, David “Ross Geller” Schwimmer as the late Robert Kardashian, Selma Blair as his wife Kris Jenner, John Travolta as co-counsel Robert Shapiro and of course, Cuba Gooding, Jr. as O.J. himself.
Check out the trailer above and be ready when the show premieres Tuesday, February 2 on FX.
