Wu-Tang Clan Were Investigated by FBI for 1999 Murder Case
“I’m not suggesting that Wu-Tang committed these crimes. The FBI did.”
In 2014, Anthony and Harvey Christian were found guilty by a federal jury of running a 20-year drug ring and the former was also found guilty of coordinating the murder of Jerome “Boo Boo” Estrella in 1999. Recently, all police files related to the murder were released and, as reported by the Staten Island Advance, it has been revealed that the FBI was investigating Wu-Tang Clan‘s involvement in the murders. Accusations claimed that the murders may have occurred because they once robbed Raekwon and RZA’s family members. Read an excerpt below:
“A couple of weeks before the Boo Boo shooting, Uncles (the street name of drug supplier-turned-informant Paul Ford) told Humphreys about a Blood named Boo Boo who just came home from jail. He stated that Boo Boo had robbed RZA’s little brother and had also gotten into something with the Christian brothers. Uncles was talking about Boo Boo and said that he had just come home and robbed RZA’s brother and that they would likely come after him for that. Humphreys believes Uncles was referring to members of Wu Tang.”
Christian’s lawyer Michael Gold shares: ”These reports seem to suggest someone else was liable for those murders. I’m not suggesting that Wu-Tang committed these crimes. What I’m trying to ascertain is their stated belief in an official file that Wu-Tang ordered this homicide.”
