A Closer Look at the Range Rover Evoque Convertible
Featuring the next generation of Jaguar-Land Rover’s In Control Pro “infotainment system.”
With ghostly outlines of the Evoque Convertible teasing the streets of London last month, the highly anticipated Range Rover model has finally arrived. The insulated fabric top has been designed to maintain the vehicle’s signature tin-top shape when raised, so drivers need not worry that the silhouette is compromised with the modification. The roof folds down in the shape of a “Z” in 18 seconds and comes back up in 21 seconds, constructed to operate within speeds up to 30 miles per hour. Although there is only 8.9 cubic feet of storage in the cargo area, there is ample seating for four and the hardtop Evoque coupe offers 19.4 cubic feet of storage. In addition, owners of the new Evoque Convertible will be able to enjoy the next generation of Jaguar-Land Rover’s In Control Touch Pro “infotainment system,” which comes standard with a 10.2-inch screen. The model will go on sale mid-2016 and will be available as either a SE Dynamic or HSE Dynamic.
