The Nike Air Trainer SC II Gets the Sneakerboot Treatment
So you can wear the Swoosh throughout the winter.
Nike seems to be turning all of its applicable silhouettes into sneakerboots this season, ensuring that you’ll still be rocking the Swoosh in knee-deep snow this winter. Its latest convert is the Air Trainer SC II, which gets an extended ankle collar constructed of mesh. To amp up the warmth factor, the shoe is fitted with cushioned socklining. This iteration gets a pretty standard colorway of black set atop a gray sole, completed with hints of red. A hidden layer of 3M covers the ankle extension and Swoosh, offering reflective protection in the depths of the night. Expect this silhouette to hit Nike retailers just in time for the winter.
