Seventies soul-man and “What You Won’t Do For Love” singer Bobby Caldwell has united with multi-talented songwriter & super-producer Jack Splash (Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, R. Kelly, Missy Elliott, Lupe Fiasco, T-Pain, Katy Perry) for a new collaborative effort dubbed Cool Uncle. Together, the pair plan to release a studio album featuring the likes of CeeLo Green, Mayer Hawthorne, Jessie Ware, Eric Biddines and more. To introduce their new act and their forthcoming debut project, Caldwell and Splash have shared their first single as Cool Uncle, “Break Away.” “Break Away” is the Jessie Ware collaboration off their debut LP, a self-titled piece schedule to see release on November 13 courtesy of Fresh Young Minds.
