In celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Ballon d’Or three-peat, Nike has created a one-of-a-kind boot to mark this monumental achievement. Ronaldo’s signature Mercurial CR7 receives a special gold design with hand-applied micro-diamonds. Although World Cup gold continued to elude him this past year, Ronaldo’s performance produced a remarkable year, nonetheless, having scored 52 goals in 43 games. The Nike Mercurial CR7 “Rare Gold” boot was given to the soccer star following his most recent Ballon D’Or victory earlier today.
