Gorillaz Creator Jamie Hewlett Confirms Group's Return

Jamie Hewlett, co-founder of Gorillaz, confirms the return of the animated band today on Instagram. In a reply to a fan’s comment after posting up a new sketch of Murdoc, Gorillaz’s bassist, Hewlett writes, “Yes. Gorillaz Returns” (the comment is only viewable with a mobile device.) In addition to the illustration, Jamie had provided two additional color drawings of Murdoc and guitarist Noodle. Not too long ago he hinted at releasing a compilation art book of his “favorite stuff,” which has yet to be released. Peep the artwork and let us know if you’re excited for their return.
