Justin Bieber is carefully plotting the steps towards his comeback right now, trying to erase the negativity which surrounded him during his time in the spotlight as an delinquent adolescent. It seems as though his efforts have been effective. Public perception is slowly becoming favorable towards the Canadian singer, which can be partially attributed to his major sonic shifts on the chart-topping hits ”Where Are Ü Now” and “What Do You Mean?” During his time in New York, Bieber stopped by the popular late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The promotional effort proved to be quite entertaining. On top of his explanation for crying during the MTV Video Music Awards and a grand album release date announcement — November 13 — Justin fiercely drum battled against Questlove, the percussionist for the resident house band The Roots. Afterwards, Justin Bieber and The Roots collaborated for a musical performance on the program, performing the former’s latest single “Where Are You Now?” with a live guest verse from the band’s vocalist, Black Thought.
