Stephen Colbert will take over The Late Show after David Letterman’s resignation, and has announced that Kendrick Lamar will be his first musical guest on the show. In a speech for the Television Critics Association, Colbert shares that since Kendrick performed “Untitled” — a song that still has not yet been released — at The Colbert Report last year, it is only appropriate to have him perform at The Late Show, which will debut on September 8.  Revisit Kendrick’s powerful performance for “Untitled” and stay tuned for more on this.
