Future recently sat down for a new extensive interview with HuffPostLive’s Marc Lamont Hill. Perhaps to gain attention with his new album DS2 due in a few days, Future has not been afraid to give straightforward answers regarding sensitive issues, which include shots thrown by OG Maco, and a new relationship between his ex Ciara with Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Champion Russell Wilson.
Fellow Atlanta musician OG Maco recently said that Future “has destroyed countless lives by making it cool to be a drug addict.” The interview was the first time Future Hendrix had heard Maco’s comments, and in his response, stated “he [Maco] needs to start rapping church bible verses.” Near the end of the interview, Future was also told about Russell Wilson’s decision to stay celibate with Ciara, and subtly joked about the issue. The interview, in addition to his new documentary, have prompted two subtweets from Ciara. Enjoy the thirty-minute interview above and pre-order DS2 on iTunes now.
UPDATE: After the short disagreement, it seems the two Atlanta natives have already made amends. View OG Maco’s tweet below regarding his now-resolved beef with Future.
