In a new interview with Dutch music site 3voor12, Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead detailed the recording of the band’s forthcoming album. Translated back into English, Greenwood speaks of the band’s hiatus since their tour in 2012 in support of The King of Limbs, saying “we didn’t do anything together for too long, so restarting took a lot of time.” The lead guitarist and keyboardist also disclosed that the band was reworking a song that dates back to 1996, titled “Lift,” which draws similarities to a track off the band’s 2007 album In Rainbows, ”Nude.” The interview can be viewed in dutch here.
