Watch Leather Corduroys' Short Film "Lucile"

The Leather Corduroys, otherwise known as Joey Purp and Kami De Chukwu, have returned to the online world, with the video for their well-known record “Seasons.”

Extremely off-piste, the visual for “Lucile” perfectly complements the unusual sound and style of the song itself. The entire song is a repetition of the pair chanting “Lucy, Lucy, Lucy.” Truly haunting, the track is complimented by the video scenes of empty rooms in a seemingly ’normal’ house.

Directed by Jake Osmun, the video is eery, dark and spooky. The tension is palpable; but somewhat humorous. This is cool; but it’s strange and unusual – something intriguing and addictive. As the clip draws to a close, we are left with a reflection of a woman we believe to be ‘Lucile.’ She’s stone-faced, and gives nothing away. We’re left none-
