For the first time in history, the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, England is opening its doors virtually to online visitors. In a move facilitated by Internet giant Google, tour goers can participate in an interactive experience to explore the renowned studios, hear previously unshared stories and play with famous equipment directly from their phone, tablet, or computer. In case you didn’t know, Abbey Road has been actively producing massively successful records since 1931, also having hosted the world’s first ever live global broadcast with The Beatles. The studios even played a part in the invention of the stereo by way of EMI engineer Alan Blumlein. Access the interactive experience here.
