A$AP Rocky Reveals Release Date for 'At.Long.Last.A$AP'

As the arrival of At.Long.Last.A$AP nears, the sophomore album to follow to A$AP Rocky’s 2013

As the arrival of At.Long.Last.A$AP nears, the sophomore album to follow to A$AP Rocky’s 2013 debut, Long.Live.A$AP, we are learning more about the influences during his two year musical absence. In multiple, recent interviews Rocky has pointed out his dislike for some of his former, more popular work like with Skillrex, and even said out that there will not be any singles on the latest project. He told NME, “I’ll do what the fuck I want. That’s the only way to do it. I’d be confused if I tried to fit in. I’m an innovator.” In addition to pulling inspiration from the ongoing racial tensions in the US, he did point out some artists that have really influenced his work on this album also.

“It’s just so inspirational to go against the grain. The Beatles were at the top of their careers and doing all that pop shit. Then they do some leftfield shit – and it worked. Those guys were geniuses.”

At.Long.Last.A$AP drops May 12 and features collabs with Juicy and producer Clams Casino and was executive produced by Danger Mouse and the late A$AP Yams, who Rock has also dedicated the record to.
