Founder Jordan Lewis, a doctor of veterinary medicine who also studied pharmacology, opened his dispensary in 2009 after learning of the extensive medical benefits of cannabis. Eventually he took to some incredible renovations after Colorado state officially legalized recreational marijuana in 2013. The dispensary sells an assortment of marijuana, edibles, products and accessories, and boasts displays and furnishings reminiscent of high-end jewelry boutiques. Silverpeak Apothecary’s marijuana is sourced from High Valley Farm, an offsite growing facility located in a 25,000-square-foot greenhouse that does not use chemicals or pesticides on plants.
