CANLOVE – the collaborative alias of American artists DJ Neff and Paul Ramirez – doesn’t believe a spray can’s life cycle or purpose ends when its empty. The imaginative duo collects discarded canisters to give them a new life through colorful, whimsical and conceptually driven artwork. “We want to show people that there is immense natural beauty inside every can, and to prove that anything can be beautiful when treated with love.” Following POW! WOW! Taiwan, CANLOVE linked with the Taipei’s Fubon Art Foundation to reshape the thousands of empty cans that were left behind from the traveling festival into vibrant flowers, raindrops and murals, all of which represent the creative passion and love for the culture of street art.
