Dior Homme 2014-15 Winter Video

The Dior Homme imprint has released this 2014-15 winter video to showcase the latest offerings for the colder season. Photographer and film maker Willy Vanderperre was enlisted to collaborate with the fashion house and we are presented with a reflection of the brand’s philosophy through a succession of clips as well as still images. Inspiration for the line was sourced from the legendary figure of Christian Dior himself, and we see his personal motifs and good luck charms such as the Lily of the Valley shine through. Menswear classics have a contemporary twist with details from utilitarian and military heritages. Highlights include the denim selection, Japanese nylon flight jackets and traditional wool overcoats. Artistic Director Kris Van Assche summed it up with this quote, “I wanted it all to be about the individual again, a feeling of uniqueness and what luxury is really about.”
