Taking inspiration from the Wild West, 3.1 Phillip Lim presented a contemporary, masculine take on cowboy attire with the label’s new collection for Fall/Winter 2014. Eschewing Western shirts and denim, the designer focused instead on reinterpreting the theme with sleek, modern pieces like bomber jackets, lounge pants and refined shirting, along with new renditions of the label’s signature combo paneled styles. Highlights include a Harrington jacket with removable shirt tail, mohair panel parka and neoprene sweater featuring a lambskin leather front with horse graphic loop embroidery, as well as simple designs like the short-sleeved Dolman T-shirt in black or white.
