The acronym “Y.O.L.O.,” which stands for “You Only Live Once” (just in case you were not familiar, of course), has received high honors. Oxford Dictionaries,, the arm of the Oxford family that focuses on current English, announced their latest batch of words to be officially added to the ranks, and “Y.O.L.O.” is now amongst them. While there have been some debate on its exact origin, it is widely believed that it first appeared on Drake’s 2011 hit “The Motto.” Other words that have been included to the Oxfoacquihire, amazeballs, binge-watch, bro hug, clickbait, cray (as in cray cray), douchebaggery, FML, hot mess, humblebrag, mansplain, side boob, side-eye, SMH, subtweet, vape, YOLO and zonkey.
