French travel blog Menilmonde has re-imagined familiar Parisian buildings and landmarks with superimposed sketches that challenge pre-conceived perceptions of architecture in a project dubbed “Archi’llusion.” Headed by founders Claire and Max, the couple adopted an ingenious technique of creating illusions by capturing lower stories of buildings and completing the visual with animated sketches. The iconic monuments featured include the Gare du Nord, Louvre museum, Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris and Eiffel Tower. Enjoy the 3 and a half minute short and head over to Menilmonde for more images of the Archi’llusion project.
