Essentials: CyHi The Prynce

The G.O.O.D. Music recording label has a plethora of talented individuals. From their head honcho Kanye West, to notable label mates such as Pusha T and Big Sean, their roster is loaded with influential tastemakers. For our latest segment of Essentials, we visit an Atlanta-bred emcee whose works include major projects such as key features on Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and notable contributions to the Yeezus album. Cydel Young, better known as CyHi The Prynce, remains a cornerstone in the G.O.O.D. Music familia. We caught up with him during his Hystori tour to check out what the rapper/songwriter keeps with him at all times. Stored in an MCM cognac backpack, CyHi attests to having Dutchmaster cigarillos over any other brand. Traveling around the world requires two iPhones to separate work and play as well having his Macbook Pro to uptake music making. With notable contributions to Kanye West’s discography, the 29-year-old emcee possesses a hefty gift from Mr. West himself, the first Jesus piece chain Kanye West received. With a distinct taste in fashion, CyHi sticks to his Balenciaga Arena sneakers,Céline glasses, and Presidential Rolex as critical staples.
