Drake and Lil Wayne have shot a promo video in support of their ongoing joint tour and the app that you can download to have a more active participation in the duo’s tour. Lil Wayne states he’s doing a daily workout that includes lifting blunts. Drake then appears, standing in a parking lot, giving a demo to the fans on how the app works.
In related news, the pair has also concluded the first part of their co-headlining tour at the Darien Lake Performance Arts Center in New York last night. And the opening was definitely the audience’s money worth — besides performing their solo cuts like “Blunt Blowin” and “Draft Day,” which both rappers used to open their respective solo sets. The duo alternated throughout the show, performing hit after hit from their extensive repertoire. The spirit of the evening was competitive. Before performing “Wu-Tang Forever,” Drake chanted, “We gotta let Lil Wayne know there’s just a couple of things Drake can do that he can’t.” Wayne responded by performing “Duffle Bag Boy,” “You was prolly still in that wheelchair when I was first making hits,” he said. Watch fan-captured footage that shows both artist performing their new single “Grindin” as well as the promo clip below.
