Slated to hit the silver screen this fall, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) is a dark comedy directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu (Babel and Biutiful) and starring Michael Keaton (Beetlejuice and Batman). Searching for respect and validity in the twilight of his acting career, Riggan Thomson (Keaton) struggles to produce a Broadway play, while being constantly reminded of his role as an iconic superhero named Birdman. Costarring Edward Norton, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Stone and Andrea Riseborough among others, Birdman releases in theaters on October 17.
