For its latest collection of wingtips, Japan’s REGAL ditches the usual laces for a new “Boa Technology” closure. Following the same general idea as that of PUMA’s classic Disc system, the “Boa” tech makes use of a lightweight cable that can be tightened with the turn of a crank at the heel for a customized fit. While one pair from the collection utilizes classic black leather construction, the other two wingtips see contemporary aesthetic cues like mesh paneling, reflective underlays, and translucent sole units. Crafted to celebrate the one-year anniversary of MINOTAUR‘s Tokyo flagship, REGAL’s trio of Boa-equipped wingtips can be purchased online now for ¥59,400 JPY (approximately $583 USD) per pair.
