The long-awaited follow-up of sorts to the beloved FZ50, Panasonic‘s Lumix DMC-FZ1000 has finally arrived. Home to a 20MP 1”-type MOS sensor, the FZ1000 boasts a 25-400mm equivalent zoom range for its F2.8-4 Leica lens and features everything from 5-axis Power OIS stabilization and a XGA OLED electronic viewfinder with 2.36M dots to a 3” fully-articulated LCD with 920K dots, 4K and 1080p video capabilities, Wi-Fi with NFC, HDMI output, and more. Intended to be a competitor to Sony‘s RX10, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 is due out July 27 and can be pre-ordered now via Amazon.
