Nike Officially Debuts the KD7

Nike has officially revealed Kevin Durant‘s latest signature shoe: the KD7. We’ve already seen the “July 4th” colorway which we’ll most likely see on Durant’s feet during the upcoming FIBA World Cup but the rest of the launch colorways take on a meteorology theme, starting with this “35,000 Degrees” model. A reference to the temperature of a lightning strike, this colorway features a bright mango upper with hits of grey across the strap, midfoot and lining, and an energetic volt outsole and Zoom Air bag in the heel. Graphics and nods to lightning also appear on the insole and Swoosh, while the strap includes the names of his mother, grandmother, father and brother. The “35,000 Degrees” will be available starting July 12 but you can customize a pair now on NIKEiD.
