Nike 2014 Summer #BETRUE Collection

In conjunction with the beginning of Pride Month, Nike is excited to launch its third #BETRUE collection celebrating the LGBT community and its role in the world of athletics. Featuring a traditional rainbow colorway atop a black base and a tribal #BETRUE print, the above range consists of two parts: apparel and footwear. The apparel line is anchored by a #BETRUE T-shirt - each of which sports the initials of a certain participating city within the campaign, a tank with the Nike motif, and another T-shirt that reads the “Just Do It” tagline. Alternatively, the three sneaker models that are offered up this time around include a pair of SB Zoom Janokis, Free Run 5.0s and Free OGs. As with many of its charitable collaborations, Nike will also donate up to $500,000 of its net proceeds to the LGBT Sports Coalition to help fight discrimination against a player’s sexual preference.
