First teased back in March, Assassin’s Creed: Unity was front and center at E3 yesterday as Ubisoft unveiled a new cinematic trailer for the game along with a look at both single-player and co-op gameplay. In a departure from the Caribbean setting of 2013’s Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, Unity is set amidst the turmoil of 18th century France and tells the story of Arno Dorian and the Brotherhood of Assassins as they struggle to uncover the dark forces at play and leave their mark on the French Revolution. Players can either fly solo or partake in the chaos with up to three friends in the brand new co-op mode, taking to the streets, rooftops and infamous catacombs beneath the city of Paris. Assassin’s Creed: Unity is due out October 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
