There are many routes a label or artist can take to promote their work, and J. Cole and Dreamville Records have gone the comedic route for Bas‘ new project Last Winter. Parodying ESPN’s renowned 30 for 30 feature series, the promotional video for Bas’ record features Dreamville boss J. Cole himself and even goes down a somewhat self-deprecating direction, which is unusual for the prideful genre of hip-hop. Watch the video above, and keep an eye out for Bas’ new title.
