Continuing on a slew of unorthodox collaborations, UK-based retailer hanon here turns its attention to Diadora‘s N9000 retro silhouette for a new collaboration. The runner, originally released in 1990, has been outfitted with colors that harken to a weekend bus service that ran in the UK in the 1980s. Accordingly: the sneaker’s paneled upper has been executed with premium burgundy leather, accented with teal accents at the forefoot and heel counter. These features are offset by contrasting sky blue mesh at the toe box, a color reiterated at the lining. Other features, such as hanon’s trademark ‘flame’ symbol, set off this casual pair. Look for the “Saturday Special” N9000 to drop exclusively in-store and online at hanon on May 31.
