After showing off its range of premium offerings last month, Japanese footwear brand, TIMAI, presents a new video to accompany the release. The brand opted for an animated approach to the video, creating a trippy, futuristic reel for two of its silhouettes — the Oshin and the Jisen. Two squid-like humanoid characters feature in the video, set against the backdrop of a bright geometric grid. The squid motif runs strong throughout other TIMAI campaigns, and is meant to symbolize the increase in flavor and character as the shoe wears in.
