After debuting the song at SXSW last month, Coldplay offer up a studio version of the ambient Ghost Stories cut “Always In My Head” Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 program. As the band’s frontman Chris Martin points out, “Always In My Head” explores a theme of “togetherness through life’s challenges.” The synth elements were created by their sound engineer to help create the synth sounds and Martin’s own daughter Apple to provide back-up vocals. Ghost Stories arrives in stores on May 19 via Parlophone Records. Listen to “Always In My Head” above.
