After teasers surfaced around the internet a couple of weeks back, here we get a full look at the rather unexpected collaborative endeavor from John Mayer and NEIGHBORHOOD. The contemporary blues musician worked with the iconic Japanese brand to produce a three-piece range of T-shirts, each of which bear a unique co-branded insignia. The icon finds Mayer’s initials stylized in a looping Art Nouveau-style font, tying together the rich heritage of blues music and NEIGHBORHOOD’s own vintage aesthetics. A graphic “No One Understands Me” T-shirt and “BLUES FURY” shirt wrap up the collection. Produced in very limited quantities, pick up these pieces beginning May 1 – which also commemorates Mayer’s first Japanese tour in four years.
